Cornbread
- 1 3/4 cups cornmeal 
- 1 cup all-purpose flour 
- 1/4 cup sugar 
- 1 Tbs baking powder 
- 1 tsp kosher salt 
- 2 cups milk 
- 2 large egg 
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and divided plus more for brushing. 
Preheat oven to 425°F. Brush a loaf pan with melted
In a small bowl, mix together the cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt. In a large bowl whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter.
Pour into prepared pan and bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
